What We Are Looking For

OZ’s Marketing department is looking for a passionate individual to provide creative ideas and content for our website and social media properties, case studies, industry/technology research paper and blog posts. The position requires you to be a good storyteller—to tell stories that resonate deeply with our potential clients!

Position Overview

 You will be an important Marketing Team member, with your main duties including completing research, writing about business practices and technologies (especially within the insurance industry), compiling social media content, and preparing promotional materials. You will help the team in staying atop the most recent industry trends, brainstorming content ideas, and further establishing OZ as an industry leader.

Role Responsibilities

This position requires you to produce two to three blog posts per week to be posted in WordPress to our website. Candidates should expect to consolidate those blogs into two eBooks per quarter and be able to segment the content/message into social media-appropriate captions. Content must be timely, accurate, and professionally written while juggling a tone that conveys knowledge and experience with technologies, without being too technical. Content must be able to be read and understood by any reader that may navigate to the site.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in content creation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to assist in the development of emails, blogs and other marketing materials
  • Exceptional proficiency in proofreading and copy editing
  • Ability to quickly learn and process information
  • Organization and time management skills
  • Excellent collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge and experience in the Insurance and Insurtech industry
  • Skilled in research methods and information searches – relevant events, industry information, and business to business (B2B) tonality
  • Ability to translate research into common language for social media and other content pieces
  • Aptitude with various social media platforms’ content best practices (mainly LinkedIn and Twitter)
