Position Overview

As a Sales Executive/Client Advisor you will play a key role in selling OZ’s consulting and technology services. You will work with the sales leadership team to develop strategic account plans, build executive-level relationships – as a trusted advisor – and position and close consulting services sales opportunities.

You will work together with sales, marketing, and technical leaders to formulate successful sales/business development strategies and execute against them. You will use OZ’s sales process to manage and qualify leads, whether self or company generated, and engage sales and consulting leadership to develop and present a differentiated and compelling solution to the client.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop new business, participate in large account complex sales, achieve quota, and ensure high customer satisfaction
  • Build strong relationships by leveraging excellent interpersonal and analytical skills and by being a good listener
  • Focus primarily on networking, phone activity placing outbound calls to potential clients with the objective of uncovering and/or qualifying leads, email campaigns utilizing HubSpot building a robust sales pipeline, and having conversations and scheduling meetings to drive awareness of OZ and win new business.
  • Use CRM to track activity and leads generated and monitor results; work with marketing to evaluate and adjust campaigns based on results
  • Qualify and pursue leads and sales opportunities in a timely manner from all channels: marketing, referrals, and existing accounts
  • Use a consultative sales approach, such as Sandler and Challenger, to thoroughly identify each prospect’s needs and requirements
  • Initiate self-development activities to learn and effectively communicate the advantages, value proposition, and differences of OZ offerings
  • Orchestrate and collaborate with OZ’s management and practice leaders to develop an effective solution that addresses client requirements
  • Develop and communicate professional presentations and proposals for prospects and clients including pricing
  • Use CRM or other sales automation tools for managing clients, prospects, and opportunity pipeline, and be proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Calendar, Word, Excel, PPT.)



  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 1-3+ years of Consultative sales experience including new business development and account management
  • Excellent communication skills – consultative, analytical, listening
  • Hunter mindset
  • Desire to learn and grow, professionally and personally


Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to present to executive audiences
  • Experience working for a digital technology consulting company
  • Experience working for InsurTech services or product company
  • Ability to work as a trusted client advisor
