Senior Vice President, Digital Technology Consulting

What We’re Looking For

You are a Digital Technology Consulting Leader or a senior member of the team ready to take over the top Technology Consulting leadership position. A leader who can blend strategic thinking with tactical execution and have experience driving the strategy, design, and implementation of innovative digital technology solutions to our clients. You are comfortable building, managing, leading, and mentoring multiple technology practices consisting of geographically dispersed teams (architects, software engineers, QA, UX/UI….). You are a ‘roll-up your sleeves’ kind of hands-on leader who leads by example, promotes teamwork, and builds strong relationships internally as well as externally with clients and our digital technology partners. You’re an implementer of proven software engineering processes with deep analytical and strategic thinking blended with a creative eye for innovative solutions. You believe in insights and facts more than opinions. You also have a result-oriented mindset and are committed to driving successful engagements and company growth.

Position Overview

As a Senior Vice President and leader of our global digital technology consulting practices, you will play a key role in growing OZ’s digital strategy and technology consulting practices. You will provide thought leadership to our clients, set strategic direction for the practices, strengthen relationships with technology partners (Microsoft, UiPath,….) and work with sales, marketing, and other departments to ultimately drive sales, recruiting, consulting, and operational efficiencies.

In your role, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall execution of business and technology consulting across a breadth of expertise areas that include Digital Technology Strategy, Digital Innovation & Automation, and Software Engineering (Enterprise Architecture, Cloud, DevOps).

Role Responsibilities:

Accountability for all the consulting practices, including revenue growth, recruiting, engagement/account management, consulting, and all operational aspects, including:

  • Practice Building – Develop & execute consulting services strategy and drive the overall growth of practice areas through a combination of business development, talent management, oversight of delivery work, and thought leadership.
  • Business Development – Work with Sales & Marketing and consulting practice leaders to lead business development activities, leveraging professional contacts for the benefit of the Company.
  • Team & Individual Development – Establish team and individual SMART goals to maximize team performance through an effective team approach that increases productivity and job satisfaction.
  • Engagement Management – Manage engagement risk, project economics including planning and budgeting, managing accounts receivable with finance, defining deliverable content, and ensuring buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels at the client.
  • Account Management – Grow accounts by designing and managing account management team that not only ensures we meet and exceed expectations but enables our clients to leverage all of our services to help them meet their business goals.
  • Manage executive and Sr executive-level client stakeholder relationships and expand OZ’s client portfolio nationally
  • Work with teams to capture best practices and develop case studies, solution accelerators, and other core deliverables to build solution offerings
  • Participate in industry forums, events, and speaking engagements; manage the production of project deliverables, budget, and presentations to client personnel and leadership
  • Mentor, develop, and proactively support practice capabilities per market demand
  • Support recruiting and on-boarding of new employees and development of leaders

Basic Qualifications

  • 15+ years of demonstrated experience focused in software engineering, preferably in an engagement-based consulting environment, or equivalent industry experience
  • P&L experience from a comparably sized consulting firm
  • Demonstrated professional growth and the proven ability to work cross-functionally
  • Proven history of leveraging and growing existing client base; organic business development responsibilities, i.e. growing new accounts/clients from the ground up
  • Deep experience with managing people, including mentoring and leadership skills
  • Background in full-stack software engineering and agile delivery
  • Expert business operations (e.g., Proposals, Presentations, SOW, margins, utilization)
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to audiences of all levels including client-facing skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working for InsurTech consulting services or product company
  • Experience working for a mid-large insurance company
  • Experience working for a mid-large Microsoft services partner in a similar capacity
  • Experience building & delivering solutions using RPA, ML, AI, and or Analytics (Intelligent Automation focused solutions)
  • Close working relationship preferably with Microsoft sales and product teams, or other technology vendors i.e. UiPath or MuleSoft.
